RC 581 is a high-functionality co-processed excipient composed of Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC) and Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC). It is engineered for superior compressibility, rapid disintegration, and enhanced tablet uniformity in solid oral dosage forms.
With a slightly different CMC-to-MCC ratio than RC 591, RC 581 offers optimized disintegration speed while maintaining tablet strength and cohesion. It is especially effective in formulations requiring both mechanical durability and immediate-release behavior.
